Hello to everybody that's reading this post. Why am i here?...well basicly becouse i might be moving to Russia next year, maybe in march or april(or that's the plan).I currently live in Romania, that's my home country where i was born and raised but my ancestors were from Russia(my family name is Ivan)and they fled Russia during Patriarch Nikon's(he held office from 1652 to 1658)ruling of the crurch when he instated a religious reform that many of them didn't agree to.So they fled to other countries and kept their belives and therefore i have roots in Russia. There reason why i wanna move to Russia(Moscow) is a girl (yea, laugh as u much as u can...)i met over ICQ(yea, laugh again...)and we've been talking for over a year now(since october 2002)so we think feelings are there, what remaines to be done is meet...that's why she'll be coming over here soon and we'll be taking it from there one step further.Anyway, the only reasonable way we can be together is if i move over to Moscow,i already know the language(it might be a bit rusty becouse as much as people tryed to keep a clean russian language here it still got denatured over time)and i've been to Smolensk a few years ago in a cultural exchange(great experience btw)so i know how's there and i'd actually enjoy it.

I've read the other posts on this matter, but most of them are since last year, things might have chaged meanwhile so i'll ask a few questions on the matter, not much different from what others asked.

1.What work opportunities would a high-school graduate have there?I have some work experience in sales/services/internet and a good english(heh...after 12 years of learning it should be good).

2.What are the apartment prices, nothing too fancy, just something affordable to rent.

3.Is getting a resident visa and even more, becoming a citizen, hard? And what are the conditions?

4.If i'd consider to continue my studies there in college,is it free or do u have to pay for it?(here it's both ways,if u're good enough u get to go to college for free,if not then u'll have to pay taxes)

5.Is marriage a basis for getting automatic citizenship?(here it is)

Well that's about all for now,i'll think over some other stuff to ask, thanks in advance to all those that are willing to respond to my questions and might have suggestions/advices on this.

Regards,Undertaker
