Seek Volunteer Opportunity in Russia

I would like to volunteer in Russia from Sept 2001 through March or April 2002.

I will pay for all my own expenses. I am looking for a way to practice my Russian, learn about people in Russia, and help those who have not had the breaks I have had.

I would like to work in or near any large city in the areas of community development, education, health care, assisting the elderly. I am open to other areas as well..

I am an amiable 32 year old former engineer from Silicon Valley.

If you can post contact persons-organizations in Russia or recommendations , I would be grateful.

There is a great Volunteering Program near Moscow. Kindly go to http://www.sv-agency.udm.ru !!! I would be going there in May for 3 months. Reg fee is $150 + visa fees and thats it. Food and board is complimentary.
