Hello!
My boyfriend and I are considering the idea of moving temporarily to Russia for business. I speak Russian. He is a dental technician (makes artificial teeth,so works as a support to dentists mainly). What are the perspectives of this job in Russia? Does anybody know whom I can ask? I need to know which is the regulation for this profession, if the Italian degree is valid, if you can work as a self-employed or only in hospitals and public structures...
Is there any association for the dental specialists?
I thank so much anybody answering.

Hello!

Regretfully I don't have any info on it, but you could try the http://www.dental.ru site (and the links from it), which is devoted to that science/profession.

I believe they have some forum as well.

good luck!

THANK YOU

THANK YOU very much for your info. Our luck depends also on the people suggestions, I'll check that web-site.
For any question you may have on Venice-Italy, ask me.

My pleasure

Just found another 'dental site': http://www.edentworld.ru - they have a section on English and a web-forum http://www.edentworld.ru/cgi-bin/info/conf.pl?cid=

I think they will be able to answer in English.
But if you need help - just let me know.

I dont have many questions about Venice ... yet
Should be great to visit it one day.
But I dont think its very comfortable to live there?

Hey, I'm so happy you have found out some more info on dental subject. We are really interested to find a new solution for my boyfriend's profession because he is really good at it but working conditions for his specialisation in Italy are not very good.
Today I visited the dental.ru site and I wrote them with my Russian keyboard, they have a forum in fact.
Living in Venice? Not convenient for the city centre, but nice the mainland area. There are plenty of cultural events and you are well connected to the other European cities by daily flights. Then we have million visitors every year. At least, visiti it some time, it's gorgeous.
I'll check the new sites.
Thank you again,
piccolamerica
