I am thinking about moving to Moscow as my boyfriend has the possibility of a job over there. It would probably be for a year or so. I am working as a journalist in London, I am 22.

Does anyone have any views on whether I would be able to find a junior journalist position on an English speaking paper/magazine?

My major problem is this: I have no knowledge at all of the Russian language. I know that this will be a problem but will it be an unscalable obstacle?

Is there a big ex-pat community in Russia?

Does anyone have any recomendations of a starter in learning Russian?

I'd be really grateful if anyone could help me!
