Hello,
This may seem like a strange request, but I am wondering what someone would need to join the Russian army? I am from England, and I am curious as to what might be required for a foreigner to join. (If they allow it at all) Of course if they do allow it, and I was serious and went to join, it would be in approximatly 8 years when I have finished my service here in the British army. By then things might have changed, so I am interested to hear what anyone thinks is required to join (work permit, residency permit etc) and whenther the laws will change very much in 8 years. I know I'm asking alot, but it would be very helpful to me... Also, if someone from England did join up with prior service in the British army, what sort of reception do you think they'd get? (Presuming of course they could speak Russian) How would they be treated etc. Thanks everyone, Ian |

First you have to give up your British citizenship because it is against British law to be a member of another countries armed forces. If you are willing to do this I am sure even if you are fat and old the Russian government would take you. Think about it.

Now, the real question is...
Once you are a member of the Russian Army... Are you going to set me up with a hot Russian soldier... Thank you, Natalie aka Natasha P.S. Visit "What about Russian Men." [personals section] |
