Visa cost to leave Russia

I have been chatting to a girl in russia and she wants to come to australia and I offered to pay and she told me the visa would cost $350.00USD, someone told that russians girls will do this and the guy sends the money and never see's the girl. Is this true it only cost $70.00 in australia for a visa. Thank you.

Yes, I have heard of scams like that. It is quite common. The guy sends the money and the girl will say she is delayed, or she had a death in the family, or whatever excuse.

Check the link. It has letters from men who have been scammed and pictures of some of the girls.

Belgian visa is about 100 USD.
You can ask the Aussie consulate in Russia and tell the girl kindly that she is misinformed. Then observe her reaction.
