I was going to give you a list of Russian composers and what not as well as a link to a site that deals with the reggae movement in Russia but since you want techno and stuff I guess I can't really help you there. Anyway, I just wanted to know.....is Russian techno pretty good? I'm quite in the dark about it.

I really have no idea if Russian techno is any good. I was just getting into American techno so I figured Russian techno had to be ok, since most Russians in U.S. are into techno. I haven't listend to Russian music for so long I don't even know the bands from the past 7 years or so. So I'm actually interested in any kind of Russian mp3's. Thanx

I was listening to the radio one day and the song Around the World (La La La La La) by the Germany-based techno group ATC came on. After the song was over, the DJ's were saying that they were sued by a Russian group because Around the World was a complete ripoff of the Russian group's song, then played the Russian song and the songs were exactly the same. I was wondering if any of you knew either the name of the Russian group or the name of the song. If you do, please e-mail me at gte507v@prism.gatech.edu or AIM me at Yoda448. Thanks!
