Manson's got the right idea..
His beliefs and ideas arent that diferent to people like Michael Moore (Stupid White Men, Bowling for Columbine ... Infact if you want to see a more 'caring' side of Manson theres a good interview with him on Bowling for Columbine)
Its probably his perspective on religion that puts him in the light hes judged under. But **** it, hes right about it.. I've seen people give up their lives...giving all their money, property, everything to the church - ending up living on the streets - poor and starving. Religion is responsible for the death, pain, and suffering of millions. Everywhere you look today - Northern Island, Israel, Kosovo.. all these major disputes are in the name of 'god'.
Why should we believe in a god that doesnt believe in us?

Here is hypocrisy. There has always been the "freak" or the "outlandish" musician or artist or whoever. There has always been a scapegoat or shock artist. Alice Cooper, Ozzy, Iggy Pop, Dee Snider, the list of course goes on. So many of the people that point their finger and gasp at Marilyn Manson can't see past the "shock-factor" idea behind it all. So many of those same people probably love Alice Cooper and Ozzy, but don't realize their own shallow, ignorant, double-standards. To Hell with them, I will see them there. Also, there are some really valid points given by you all. Rock on.

When I was about 13 I was told that Marilyn Manson sacrificed animals onstage. I decided that I didn't want to listen to his music. A few years later I listened to his music and loved it. Then I found out that the animal sacrifice thing had been made up. I was soo pissed off.

hello im a new member to this bord and i have been reading you complaing about mrilyn manson....
i am disapointed to you all because he sings about how people hate not telling people to hate and the person who said that he sacrificed and aniaml on stage... he didnt and were you actually there to see him do that ... dont say stuff that you have just heard cose it might ne be true !!
