Question
How come people don't like the new RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS song "Californication"? Did you see the video? It's the best! I wish I could get some support here!

The reason people don't get into this CD is because there are no rockin' tunes on it.
It's rather depressing, really. I like the Chili Peppers, but mostly their older stuff.
Songs like 'Give it away', 'Suck my kiss' and such.

I love "Californication" anf fully agree with you. Do you really know people who don't like it?! Of course, tastes differ, but the song is really beautiful.

I think most music fan expect bands to never evoluate & stick to their "old stuff" like if their own tastes never changed. It is pretty narrowminded.
This band has a heavy history & it is sooo great that they didnt lose any of their passion for music & for fans.
As for the Californication video, it is sooo beautiful & differs from all the Christina Aguilera & N*sync crap going on these days on tv. The video is one of the most original, as for the Otherside video!
