Hello, Russia...!
My latest endeavor is to write a Musical
Theater piece about the life & times of
Rasputin. I've done a bit of research, but
need to do much more. I will also be needing a person to translate key passages in the playfrom English to Russian.
I would like to converse with anyone
interested in Musical Theatre and/or
Rasputin and the Czarist Regime.

Just for your info, there was a musical piece called "Rasputin" done in London last year, written and produced by Kit & The Widow. I'm afraid I didn't see it, I was here in Moscow. It got pretty poor reviews, apparently, and didn't last long.

My interest in Russia began when I was 12 years old and I saw the movie NICHOLAS AND ALEXANDRA.

Since then I have learned to speak, read and write Russian. I am not advanced at all, of course. I have been inside the palace and to the exact spot where the murder of Rasputin took place!

I don't know if I can help you much but just thought I would let you know that you are not alone in your interests. There is a book you can buy called IMPERIAL SPLENDOUR. It is written by Felix Yussupov.
