I need a domain name!! My website designer has made two polite requests, and I keep putting it off. You would think the name would be the easiest part, but noooooooo.

Here is your chance to be a star, baby.....

Butter

Missed you Butta. You left after da Grunt bothered you, I feared the worst.

Name choice is not that easy. I will leave it to the wordly talented.

Congrats!!!

So how was Atavanland, Butter?

John_G~

I can't tell you why I dropped out for a while because I don't really know. I think I just got tired of posting when i was sh*tfaced and typing on speedbumps. Grunt wasn't a problem. I hope he doesn't kill me for saying this, but the man turned out to be a real beacon in my darkest days.

My drinking had gotten so bad that I really didn't want to talk to anyone, but the guy spent hours online or on the phone with me either talking me out of offing myself or simply reassuring me that it will get better. I'd sing his praises a little more but I'd risk ruining his hard-earned reputation as a ( fill in the blank ).

Early one Sunday morning I drove myself to County hospital and underwent a 3-day detox. Wheeeeee. The come-down drugs were so yummy that it almost didn't hurt to come home and throw out two unopened bottles of Stoli.

So here I am, back to slurping coffee and hiking mountains. Somewhere in the middle of my blur, I managed to enter a display of my jewelry in the Gems&Minerals competition at the County Fair a couple weeks ago. And while I was knocked out on Atavan ( detox drug ) my friends went and picked up my entry after the judging was over.

Along with my blue ribbon.

My first sponsor used to say that God watches over puppies and drunks. Guess he has a soft spot for artists, too.

Butterfield....

I kept seeing road signs with your name on it on my way back to here...and let me just say that there are some people that you meet..and it's just obvious that God has a very distinct purpose for them..they just shine somehow..and you are one of those people. It doesn't surprise me much that adversity looks for you..you are here for a much greater purpose than we can see now.. you have a resolve and inner strength that will overcome anything they throw your way.

I am glad to see you back!

Now I feel like the lowest form of prehistoric dinosaur sh!t. I did not know you had a drinking problem when I made the "stay away from the fire water" joke. Please accept my apology. Being a 1/4 Irish and 1/16 Cherokee I have heard all the alcohol jokes and stereotypes. What is ironic is I drink rarely if at all. I think I had a six pack about 5 years ago and it lasted a week. Most of my heaving drinking was in my freshman year of high school. I can tell you I have never been that drunk that I forgot what I did, I have never been hungover, so maybe I never drank that much. I wish I could help.

My sister has a severe drinking problem. She would rather drink than raise her children, they were taken away in '94. I have one of the four, he turns 16 next month. Five years ago he told my father he wanted to live me. I was shocked and still am.

Where was the Lat when this was happening?

As for Grunt, in your previous post you seemed bothered that he e-mailed you.

Congrats on the Blue Ribbon.

As for the domain name, think about what your clients would type in while searching for your product. All Russian Art? Modern Russian Art? What name would get the most number of matches?

E-mail me anytime and best wishes.
