There is actually an interesting CD called 'Before the Revolution'
a 1909 Recording Expedition in the Caucasus by the Gramophone Company.

You can actually hear really really old recordings of Georgian, Armenian, Kabardian, Azeri, Chechen, Ingush, Ossetian and from Central Asia. You can hear people singing their traditional songs. It's not something that you can put on to listen all day lets say... but it's a very interesting historical CD.
