Then it appears I know talent when I see it. They were three of the four on my short list and I was pleased when they accepted the positions.

And I quickly ascertained that you were going to be pushing the envelope on this site most of the time. I figured if you'd accept a moderator position, you'd show some maturity and real interest in this board, as the others have, and you'd accept.

But you did as I exepected. You flatly declined. Why? Because you not only intend to push the envelope, you intend to bust it wide open. And it could be that you know you have no talent for the job. I thought otherwise if only you could keep your personal belief system out of every other member's face.

You remind me of some of the pre-adolescent members I have on one site. They perform their childish antics and wait to see if "mommy the moderator" will catch them and publicly admonish them. They just crave attention,

And so do you. You crave it and you will do whatever you have to do to get it.

I have been at this job for a long time now and I can sniff out a troublemaker, even when he cloaks himself in the robe of self-righteousness. You're one of those people who thinks he can say ANYTHING as long as he postures it with "I was only jokling!" when the intelligent people see it for what it is, mean and offensive.

Start behaving as an adult and find some other avenue to get your jollies other than publicly ridiculing the other members of this site.

Niquie, don't forget that Andrew was also offered a moderator position in the religion forum, and he also declined. Could he have seen the same potential disaster as I did? Is Andrew a trouble maker also?

Mevaser posted his Jewish beliefs, and was branded a troublemaker. Apache, eyeradi8, carter, etc. were all branded troublemakers. In fact, so many people have been branded troublemakers, it's hard to count them all. How is it that so many posters who have been here for years, and posted thousands of posts, suddenly are troublemakers? Could we ALL have changed so drastically in such a short time? Or is there another explaination? You loved grunt...and he was unanimously voted off the island. So many troublemakers...so little time.

Maybe its time you join your friends when you come back from the 3 weeks vacation if you dont like it here CS.

If you only have stories to make, to tell about past things and you cant move to the future, then its time to completely move.
