AnarchistPatriot: So are you into the eastern european "industrial" music? I've heard some interesting music sort of on the "grind" side of "industrial" from the Czech Republic and Ukraine. I've heard just enough to know that there is some crazy stuff going on.
I've heard that there's some pretty crazy music on the "electronic" side coming from Brazil. Would you care to share some insight on that broadly defined scene? |

I do like a lot of post-rock bands though. Among my favorite acts: Mogwai Tortois (from my home town of Chicago) RadioHead Silver Mt Zion Explosions in the sky Godspeed! You black Emporer I do know some Czech music (my ex wife is Czech and I been there a few times) but mostly its old stuff. My daughter was there last year and had some interesting music. I don't know the names of the bands though.

Talking about world music
Guys
The world music is great, no doubt. There are so many kinds of music out there but you must not forget the homeland music. For me- only the Kalinka. I used to play it over and over again in my windows media player, but no more, I have found something great - Kalinka Maya - Kalinka Kalinka Kalinka Maya Enjoy ![]() |
