Australian mucisian visiting Russia 2006

I will be visiting Russia next year, particularly St Petersberg, and am looking to make some contacts with other musicians but am looking for any contacts really. I am not a young musician (I am 54yo) but don't feel that old so don't let it put you off replying Anyway, I write my own stuff and perform in restaurants in Sydney Australia. My music is probably best described as 'soft jazz', laid back easy listening stuff.
