Unhappy

When in Moscow, I planned every week with the help of the little magazine Ваш Досуг. When in St. Petersburg, I didn't plan anything. It sucked.

I'm going back to St. Pete's soon, though, and was hoping that somebody could point out a good magazine (or anything) that has similar content. Basically, I'm looking for a listing of sports competitions (woo hoo, hand to hand fighting!) and concerts (but movies, restaurants, art, the whole deal is good too). Is there anywhere on the net that has current listings of such cool stuff?

Actually, even if any of you just know about some cool martial arts tournaments coming up in May, please let me know! I can go without the other stuff!

Hey!

Visit http://www.aktivist.ru

(this is the one having english pages I remember) or check any of the search engines - http://www.yandex.ru ; http://www.aport.ru ; http://www.rambler.ru ; http://www.list.ru to find out more.

And, you could be lucky - In may there should be a world championship final of the 'fights without rules' in St. Petersburg.

Talking Ваш Досуг

I'm very happy to see that a St. Petersburg version of Vash Dosug is for sale now... it only costs about five rubles (depending on where you buy it) and has info about all the cool stuff to do each week.
