I live in the USA and recently my mother saw a story on TV about the abusive treatment towards gay & lesbian's in Russia. I was never subjected to this when I was there in St. Pete. I'm very open. I haven't heard of this in my reading's in publications in the gay press. Have things changed I haven't been to Russia in 3 years & plan to return next year for the celebration.
