...all around the world. I´m a curious girl and so I decided to find out something about Russia (at the moment I don´t know too much ´bout it). I would be glad if somebody would like to talk with me. Note: I´m a great fan of Modern Folk. What is the music in Russia like?!? Bye...

Elisabeta --

What exactly do you want to know about Russia? Unfortunately, I am not a music fun, I do not know much about music, but I do know enough about different things.

I'd love to talk to you.

Hello Daria - I´m really glad about your feedback! Well, music is only one of many things I´m interested in. But I just want to know which bands are popular in Russia, and what´s the kind of music that Russian teens and twens like most! Moreover I wished to know some other facts about Russia - the newspapers write always the same, and I think there must be something more! I´m so interested in other countries, in their culture and languages, and Russia is fascinating and amazing. Please, tell some more about yourself! Where are you from? How old are you??? I´m 17 years old, living in Hamburg, Germany... a luck that I can "travel" by Internet whenever I want... Hope to hear from you soon!!!

Hi Elisabeta --

I am 29 years old, not a teen anymore
I am from Russia, but right now I am in New Jersey, USA.

As for my music preferences, I mostly listen to classic music, but also like jazz, rock form 70', and different kinds of religious music -- from Pergolesi to Gregorian Chant.

I suppose that Russian teens may like rap and techno, but I could be wrong, because I am just too old to judge ..

Well, if I am not too boring for you, tell me what are you studying in Germany? I have a very good friend who is living in Munich (spelling?). She is also from Russian, but has lives in Germany for 10 years.

Bye,
Daria

Hello Daria...
...no, you don´t bore me! Okay, I tell something about me: I am still learning at a school for Economics. That´s not too amazing, but I´m sure that I´ll need it sometimes in job. In my freetime I learn those languages which are not tought at school, and I try to learn a bit of the Russian language since a short time. Well, here in such a big city it is quite easy to find friends from other countries, but I don´t know people from Russia here, so I have to practice alone. Moreover I love sports, and I´ve got a little band (I´m proud!). We play some Rock and Country - the music I like most - but Hip Hop is also great. And maybe you notice: Writing letters is a hobby of me, too. And I do my best to write a good English... okay, please tell me: When did you go to America? And what do you teach at your school? See ya next time!!!

I've been living here for almost 4 years. I am teaching Russian, but not at school. Now I am working as a freelance teacher, and also have a course in a language center. I've never taught anything to kids, but I am concidering this opportunity in the future.

I do not believe there is no Russians in Hamburg. It is not possible! I am sure that if you really need someone to help you out with your Russian, you will definitely find him/her.

Bye for now,

Daria.

Greetings and Salutations!!!
For sure: There must be someone, but it is not easy to find out where. I think there´s enough time to search. Unfortunately I cannot take some lessons in the afternoons now, the school is quite hard. Next year I´m going to finish school, and it is not easy to decide which job would be the best. There are so many! First I wanted to visit a school of languages or arts, but then I thought: No, that should be my hobby - maybe it would be boring sometimes, and that would be a pity... it´s better that way. Ciao.
