Everyone knows about the history of racism in the United States. We all remember the murder of civil rights workers and Martin Luther King. We’ve seen the American signs claiming “Blacks Not Allowed” and “For White’s Only”. We’ve seen the photographs of White Americans smiling while dead Black men hang from the trees in the background. We haven’t forgotten the film showing Rodney King being beaten by several White policemen. That was only a few years ago. Did we forget the trial of O.J. Simpson, where it seemed that the whole murder case hinged upon whether or not Detective Furman said the word “N-i-g-g-e-r”?
But how much racism is there in the United States? Saddam Hussein gassed a complete village of Kurds in northern Iraq. Does America do such things? Probably not. The Serbs have slaughtered thousands of ethnic Muslims in the former Yugoslavia. Has America done any such thing? No. Hitler murdered 6 million Jews in his quest to completely eliminate those people from the earth. Has America ever done such a thing? No. But the Nazis also performed untold numbers of medical “experiments” on those people in the famous concentration camps. Has America ever done such things? In 1936 there began a medical program, in the United States called “The Tuskegee Experiment”. This “experiment” was started with the intention of studying effects of the venereal disease called “syphilis”. It was decided that Black American Men would not receive any treatment for syphilis. In fact, these Black men would NOT BE TOLD that they had syphilis. It was decided that these Black men should suffer and die. While they were dying, doctors would examine these men to see how syphilis would affect the body. The doctors wanted to see “how” these Black men would die. And yes, they did suffer and die! But before they died they spread the disease to other Black people in the community. The American doctors thought this was good! They could have more experiments! What kind of country is this “United States”? Do you know about the Nuremberg Trials? Yes, Nazi war criminals were tried for crimes against humanity and for conducting “experiments” on people to let them die. Some of these people were chosen to die because they were born Jewish, for example. Innocent people. Do you remember when the Nazis were killing these people? Do you remember when the Nuremberg Trials had condemned these “criminals? Yes? During all of this “time” the United States was still watching Black men die in the “Tuskegee Experiment”! So when did the “Tuskegee Experiment” stop? It was a newspaper article in 1972 that found the Tuskegee Experiment was still “in operation”! If they had not been “found out”, we can be sure that the United States would still TODAY be performing the “Tuskegee Experiment”. Read:

I assumed that "our" program was a lot of hyped-up propaganda with only minor success. I know that such malady are considered "an illness" (here) rather than simply "criminal" but I figured it was only Utopian wishing. Maybe they've really gotten on to something good after all! |

A redneck southeners wishes for black Americans
Here is my wish for black Americans. That I would wake up tomarrow morning and hear the news that every black American had no chemical dependency such as drugs or booze and had leaned a good trade to make enough money to feed their families .Also to have learned this world we live in has and will have injustice for all races of humans. There few who have not sinned against their fellow humans. The old cotton plantations are gone,The slaves have been set free but many today large numbers have voluntarily entered slavery and enslaved their own kin to drug addiction.Like Mr shakespeare said long ago.Forbear to judge for we are sinners all.==========> Includeing this guy>> Justo

Hello Bunky,
We have come a long ways since 1936. Martin Luther King helped us along. Too bad he was murdered. I can assure you that if the experiments were being continued today that there would be an uproar that would drown out the worlds sounds. As you pointed out things have swung the other way when a policemans is fired and driven out of town and a murderer set free because Ferman said, Nrgger. Rodney King is a big time crook and very strong and hard to manage. He got millions $$$ because he refused to obey policemen. What would Swede police do to a man that refused to obey policeman? What would it do to the peace of the world if everybody refused to obey policemen? As for O J Simpson getting off. This is not uncommon for someone with a good lawyer to get out of most anything. I have worked for Black supervisors and Black formen and they all made every attempt to not show any racial preferences. I have black neighbors that are as well educated and mannered as the best whites. However, in many places there is a problem with uneducated, drug using gang type blacks. The ones that intergrate into our society make A1 citizens. old reb |

Some blacks are richer than me!
There are some who do nothing but play ball who could buy and sell me! I am only 5 feet 11 1/2 inch tall.I would like to make four million a year but my heigth holds me back. That might be considered discrimination to some short people but I am satsified with my lot in life.
