Yah, proof positive that

not all "conspiracy theories" are created equal. The notion that the Solar System has been visited by intelligent extraterrestrial life is equally preposterous, since if they intended to stay they would be making a world to their specifications out of one of the uninhabited planets. Compared to crossing the interstellar void, this "setting up camp" is child's play. Yet "conspiracy theories" have their place! In Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar, for example, a conspiracy is central to the plot. All racketeering convictions must prove a conspiracy. All political revolutions are the result of conspiracies. So to discount something as, "Just another conspiracy theory," without investigation of the claim, is as ignorant as uncritical belief in every hare-brained notion on the Internet.PEACE,T.

Tova, you've got to be kidding me.

If you think that this planet HASN'T been visited from other life, you have lost your mind. History has shown over and over that there have been "gods from above" who have visited this planet. Go all the way back to the Sumerians who knew of the existence of Pluto long before the telescope was invented. The Maya, the Aztecs, and the Inca all have stories of the white brothers who came from the sky. Even the historian for Alexander the Great wrote about the battle for Tyre. There was a 10 day stalemate until two "shields of silver" hovered over the battlefield. Alexander took that as a sign that victory was theirs. They took the city that day. And the stories go on and on. And don't get me started on Egypt.

To think that WE are God's greatest creation is arrogant and absolutely preposterous. It's stunning that anyone with a "scientific" mind could think we are alone in this big universe. Even Carl Sagan believed.

Once again I have to say: very old planet, 6,000 year old race.

Aliens yes, visiting Earth, no

or else where are they? Panspermia, the theory that spores migrate through space propogating life- is that what you mean? Maybe some type of ancient prokaryotic Earth cell originated under another star? Difficult to prove, even with advanced space travel. If you are interested in speculation about weird critters of this and possibly other worlds, let me steer you to The Science of Aliens by Clifford Pickover, http://www.basicbooks.com search "aliens", it's right there. If aliens are in close proximity to us, why should they keep their existence a secret? Travel to our star indicates vast wealth and knowledge, why should they not wish to show off a little or make themselves at home on, say, MARS before we do?PONDER,T.

They have a home Goober! They don't need another one!

They have been making themselves known for thousands of years. Sheesh!

And why don't they stay? Look at us! We are a fallen race on a very small planet where evil resides in full force before it's complete elimination very soon. Why would a race that hasn't fallen want to come down and fellowship with us? They've probably been warned, or just have 20/20 vision. They're not stupid, and probably don't want to have to talk to Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, or be on Jerry Springer. But they do get the opportunity to see what happens to a race that allows evil and disobedience to God to grow and fully mature.

We have quite a talent for messing up pristine things, and we would be doing them no favors!

How would they get here

How would they get here.

Nothing in the universe travels faster than light and I think it takes light some 100 years to get from the nearest star to earth. We can't go anywhere near the speed of light.
If they send a probe, it will take a long time to hear from it.

I just love it...

Anything we can't understand, just can't be real. The distances are too far. It is impossible. Etc....

How did a 140 pound Ukranian man build the coral castle in Florida using just his mind? He claimed he knew the secrets of the pyramids.

How did Jesus just appear in a room, sit down, eat, and disappear?

Why did Tesla say that he started building his coil after a small man came in through his window and told him the secrets?

We are babies in our knowledge. We are to them just like my dog is to me: she understands a lot. But what she doesn't understand, she just sits there with her head cocked to one side.

How do they get here? Just sit there and cock your head! Or ask the pilots of the Belgium Air Force who chased two of them and clocked them by radar from three different points at over 9,000 KPH.

PS: nothing travels faster than light? How do we know. We didn't even know the speed of light a thousand years ago. We weren't even flying in the air three hundred years ago. But we have it all figured out now, huh?
