A re-vote is completely unethical and unacceptable. It would be like allowing a loser to pick the winning numbers in a lottery broadcasted the night before.

People need to be more educated about democracy and stop taking it for granted. If only they were this interested the day before the election...

I agree. Re-voting would be unfair. Further,
it is not necessary. Just give VP Gore all the votes Buchanan received by mistake. That should be enough to give the election to VP Gore. The Gun Nazis, Abortion Nazis, and
Jesus Nazis should not be allowed to move into the White House along with George W. Bush. You seem to have a good command for the English Language. Would it not bother you to have a President who can not make good use of the language? In addition, George W. Bush is a Socially Retarded low IQ fool. He would take the USA backwards.

The media has exploited this election. Personally, I feel a little sorry for Gov. Bush and Cheney.

I agree with Heather, that re-vote is un-fair. First, it can create a precedent for all other states to do the same. Second, if people were not smart enough to understand the voting rules-it's not the country's fault. It's their personal problems. It was my first American election, but I didn't make any mistake (hopefully).
As to re-counting-it has to be done properly,
but I don't think, Pat has a right to re-address his votes to Gore or anybody else.
He should do it in advance, if he wanted. nobody restricted him from giving up and appeal to his voters the day before election.
As to Bush's English-I'm not electing my English teacher (whom I need badly, by the way). I'm voting for country's leader.
at least, Bush proved that he is able to lead one of the biggest states (I mean-Texas, which can be compared to the average Europian country). Could you recall any of Gore's accomplishments during his 8 years staying in White House?

I am a resident of the State of Texas. George W. Bush has a very poor record here.
Socially speaking that is. He told a bold face lie during the debate when he said that
he worked to have the Patient Bill of Rights
passed by the Texas Legislature. HE VETOED THE SUCKER. IT BECAME A LAW ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS JAMMED DOWN HIS THROATH. IT BECAME A LAW WITHOUT HIS SIGNATURE. He is bought and paid for by the GUN NAZIS, ABORTION NAZIS, and JESUS NAZIS and BUSINESS LOBBY NAZIS.

Unfortunately, VP Gore was a very poor candidate with a poor supporting cast. We now face the real possibility of having the AGENTS of DARKNESS negate the limited social progress we have achived.
