maybe not tomorrow, but die it will. What to do about it? Well, imagine two hemispheres with holes in them like a bowl with a hole in the bottom. Place one "above" and one "below" the ecliptic to gather Solar radiation currently wasted on the uncaring (abiotic?) Universe, leaving a gap to illuminate the worlds of the ecliptic. This power shall be stored in the form of antimatter, concentrated in the polar regions of the "bowls". Judiciously applied to the Sun, the antimatter will cause a titanic plume of plasma to erupt from one of the Solar poles, voila, rocket exhaust! Then we steer the entire Solar system to some nice cozy, long-lived red dwarf star while we figure out a long-term solution. There are about 15 such stars within a 12-light year radius, so it shouldn't take too long, and we'll have all the comforts of home. Firing antimatter into the opposite pole will take care of the braking we'll need to do once we get to, oh, maybe Barnard's star.LET'SGO!T.

As the MOTOR guy! AND the fuel tank. There is no reason to hang around this region of space when others are more hospitable and every year we wait makes the distance we must travel greater, according to the current interpretation of the "red shift" observed in incoming star light. Besides, there is plenty of incentive for building the modified Dyson sphere I have described, since it would not only collect radiation, but also charged particles for fusion fuel, 100% of which is currently going to waste, I might add.

True, it will be slow, and not handle like a sports car, but in every other conceivable way the Solar system makes the ideal spacecraft. Also true, we can take our time up to a point, but if we must do it sooner or later, why not sooner?

Comrade Apache, I send greetings from beyond the grave, oy, don't ask!ROMANS12:2,T.

Not delusional, comrade, this is mainstream astrophysics. Fear? I cannot make you be scared, nor was I attempting to. I find it invigorating to belong to a species which is able to identify such a problem and which has the capacity to solve it, but then I am not a misanthropic small-minded little weenie who would rather play with his balls. Nor am I "irrelevant", since you have yet to prove your claim, nor am I dead, as you stupidly continue to insist.LOVE,T.

NO! My friend you have DONE IT! This is one thing that the humble tovarisch cannot even blame on the British Empire! Have a cigar! Yet this means we cannot sit around on our butts waiting for the world to end. God in his wisdom and mercy has given us a big Universe, let's make the most of it.GOODWILLANDGOODNIGHT,T.
