How about "True Stories - The Hot Moscow B*tches Who Will Never F*ck Kalinin-type Commie Wannabes" or "Young Lesbians Explain Why Sh*tty Russian House Disco Makes 'em Horny." There's so much great stuff to write about in Moscow.

Anyone want me to snap a pic of the Ukrainian hookers car-headlight-line-up just off Leninsky Ulitsa? If you've never seen a street line-up, you haven't lived. Or how about the Dynamo sluts working the Futbol Fanaty crowd?

I wonder if any of the Dynamo sluts will remember me. My girlfriend will be so impressed if they do. I was their favorite American dork who tromped through their perahout lugging his laptop while swiggin' his peva at early hours every morning. I used to let them take hits off my peva, then, as a health precaution, I just bought a few extra and passed the pevas out on my way through. You gotta take care of your local corner working girls, there's no other way to get a freebee.
maybe you'll pick up soldat's mother

seriously the problem with pucker soldat is he has a "little stalin" complex. only he can critize. he knows that the "open board" is a multi-national board. yet he often only posts anti-american sayings for the american guests and then in his little "stalin" mode, expects americans to sit back quietly and not reply.

just like most cowards, he can dish it out, but whines his a$$ off if it's dished back to him.

As for the anti-Americanism & anti-Russianism, there seems to be a balance. Frankly, sometimes the things people post seem to be a bit outdated(like something from the Reagan administration + the "Evil Empire") but I try and not care bc I really don't think they mean anything by it. Many on here are older(though they sometimes forget that) and you must remember PC that to them the SU is still fresh in their minds(just like the starushki who follow zyganov). Time heals all wounds.
SanRus,

A young (26 I think) friend who is very vocal about political matters asked me just last week why I would spend my vacation in a communist country where people lined up to buy bread.

He wasn't kidding. Even though the SU fell apart before he knew what the word politics meant, he really thought it was still like it was portrayed in the old docu-movies. I think many people suffer from that view to one degree or another. That's why few things I read here surprise me.

Warm? It is so hot it feels like a roast.

The Good news about roasts
They're fun
They're popular
They honor someone
They bring people together

The Bad news about roasts
They ridicule someone
They're boring
They're too long
They're can offend
