The what all is bad about the USA board,As long as they could talk bad about the USA on every other post many of the recent complainers were happy.They like Mr T and Bunky because they slander the USA.

It sounded as if you're implying I called her a name in this thread or very recently. I might not be very friendly with posters who swear at me or call me B**** (funny how you don't remember that ) but I highly doubt I called her any names.

Sure I remember that. By the way Voro was joking about all that Spunky's kid stuff and later apologized because it ended up offending her. You and I have probably teased each other but we do it good naturedly don't we Apache? Yet we don't go calling each other B**** or A**hole do we?
I have nothing against disagreements like what I, Spunky, LL (or whoever was involved) had. But there are limits and all too often they are crossed.

Why use different nicks? The use of "stealth technology" on a message board seems to indicate a desire to hide from the words you have previously written. That doesn't help achieve your goal of "intelligent discussion", as every time you pop up out of the woodwork, people think you are new to the board, and waste time trying to figure out where your philosophy fits into the discussion at hand.

Even worse, by changing names from time to time, you avoid being held accountable for your previous remarks. That sounds pretty phoney to me. You arrive as the newborn "Cinderella" and attack those who don't play according to your standard, yet because you change your identity from time to time, we have no way of knowing what your real standard for discussion really is.

I'll grant you that there is alot of flaming going on here, but that is mostly aimed at provoking new arguments to replace some of the old tomes that have been reprinted here ad nauseum. Newcomers are given a fair shot, and if they have something inspiring to say, they are treated well. On the other hand, if they are simply repeating the same old memorized lines written by others (or have changed their nick to escape their reputation), they tend to get blasted.

So what? If you read a post that has been stoned by the majority of the population here, and then proceed to post the exact same thing, what should you expect? People who at least make an effort to explain their position in a unique manner find it easier to engage in discussion here.

If you care to get past the impressive array of four letter vocabulary that we all excercise here from time to time, you will find many great pearls of understanding lurking within what appear to be generic flame posts. It might seem more genteel to limit or prohibit the use of such language here, but I don't think that would have the desired effect. My computer has been at home here for quite a while now, and like any dynamic entity, the tone and pace of this board are in a constant state of flux. If you don't like it today, try again next week. Of course, it would be nice if we could recognize you by name between visits......

Oh, before I forget. Don't blast Vick Black over her job as moderator. She does a good job at reigning in the extreme posts, and the bulk of the people here seem to be pretty happy with the overall ebb and flow of the board. Besides, Vic gets it. If you take the time to look at her posts and responses, you might discover some pretty outstanding wisdom there (the kind of stuff you were thinking to be absent from Russia.com).

Does your boss know that you have been using corporate data assets for personal enjoyment? I won't tell, but I'd bet that you are breaking work policy at the same time that you are complaining about board policy .

See, we can be nice from time to time. And unlike in your case, if you want to know my feelings about an issue, you can simply check out posts written by Voyager. Good, bad, right, wrong, or just plain stupid, they are mine, and I'm here to take the heat.

The only view you need to know is that I used to post here under different names for a long time and I compared the board now to what it used to be and it has gotten horrible. That is the essense of this thread. If you want to know my views on something else, ask me and I will tell you. The search wouldn't do you any good because my views has changed and no longer apply, that's why the name changed. Why do you assume that a person has changed her nick because she needs to hide, are you projecting?
