I am an American who met a woman from the Ukraine on the internet (she contacted me). I wrote this woman for over a year and fell in love with her. I even sent her $100 a month to help her out because I planned on marrying her. She was a good woman the whole time I met her, love of family, religon, the whole nine yards. I was going to see her in September. Then, she meets a group of people in the Ukraine who want to start a settlement in the Altay region of Siberia. In a week her personality has totally changed. She isn't religous now, is going to leave her two teenage sons with her parents, etc. I am part Native American and live in a rural area in America. I have told her that living in the woods isn't going to be as easy as she thinks it is. The closest she has been to living in the woods is her and her ex-husband rented a cabin once with another couple. Now, am I crazy for loving this woman and has she been brainwashed by this group? She asked me to go with her, but I don't want to live in Siberia. I think in a few weeks or months, at most, she will be wishing she was back home. Am I right or wrong? Could I get some opinions.

I thought Jim Jones was dead.

I see that 8 didn't want to get into it here, but I can't resist a question and an observation.

Question; Did you fall in love with her through correspondence alone, or did you really meet and get naked together?

Observation; I suppose you no longer have any doubts as to why she has an ex husband......

I guess that if you are really hooked on this prize, you can tell her that you moved to the Bahamas, and wait for her call for help in mid December.

Dude, go to Siberia. Are you kidding, you'd be worshipped there like a God. Can you imagine it? You walk into a small town and whip out a couple of Benjamin Franklins to buy some kerosene, matches, salt, and whatever other provisions those outdoorsy types buy, and guess what, every dude in town will eye you warily cause they'll know - any and every chick in town will be all over you at the snap of your fingers.

I'd go in a heartbeat if I was you. You'll have every babe in town, plus, they'll be paying you top dollar to teach them about Native American stuff. You'll be treated like an Astronaut coming in home from the moon.

Go to Siberia, much trees, many babes.

And make sure you post a message to a certain guy here named Tovarisch, he always calls people Kemosabe. We tell him not to and that it's not cool to be a bigot, especially against Native Americans but he just keeps doing it.

Good Luck
