Dr. Rice used executive priveledge to testify before the bipartisan commission on 9/11/01. Simply put Bush was in charge at the time of the incident and should be held responsible for all actions before and after 9/11. Clark tried to warn about Al Queda and Bush's cabinet wanted to focus on Iraq. Bush practically let Al Queda operatives access to federal areas (airports) allowing the terrorist to commadeer aircraft to be used in the kamakazi styled attacks.

Rice and the administration was sitting on their thumbs for about 232 days.
If Bush Co. was that admirable leader everyone claims he is then why not head straight into Afghanistan? Reminds me of another Bush when the US Stark was attacked by Iraq. Someone raise the legitimate flag "Don't tread on me." This star spangled banner looks too pinko commie to me from a distance.

I have watched the photographer in the background of Dr. Rice's testimony, change his lense 20 times.
Dr. Rice of course putting all the blame with Richard Clark. That's how she follows up on FBI and CIA interaction. She is getting first hand experiance of all those lawn cigars being rolled up on capitol hill. [Edited by Armelius on 9th April 2004 at 03:36]

Armelius,
I think Dr Rice is one of GW's greatest assets. She not only held her own against your like minded "blame Bush for everything" members of the committee, but her testimony shot your view of reality full of holes. First, she didn't use Executive privilige to testify. Her boss set it aside in order for her to do so. Big difference. She didn't blame that blowhard Richard Clarke for everything either. In fact, she was quite civil. She merely presented the facts, as substantiated by documents that the committee was already privy to in private sessions. Some of those members just didn't think it would be made public when they twisted comments to suit their political interests. Clarke is nothing but a lap dog of the left with a self serving twist. I think the tesitmony today put that dog to sleep. It's nice for you to bracket Clinton in the protective cloak of blaming the Bush family for everything bad to happen to the US, but it is so far removed from both the reality of recent history, and the reality of the American system of government, that your claims only serve to emphasise your personal bias, and not any thought that you may actually be aware of what is happening in the world. By the way, how many lens changes are appropriate in such a session? Voyager |

She had information that "something big,...an attack on the US," and Osama was planning to attack.
Where was mister pre-emptive president bush? Swatting flys on his ranch. Come on they were all about protecting israel and not about america. As soon as they walked out of the South African conference there should of been a general alert for all government facilities and places under federal jurisdiction such as airports. Look Voy, I am not a national security adviser but I know about securing a base. You get everyone together on the same program. If one arm doesn't know what the other is doing you have to be the head and direct that arm and follow up to make sure your base is secure. I am sure a nation wouldn't be much different as a base. This terrorism thing has been going on since 1985 or around when the Marines were bombed in Beirut. Clark was Reagan's boy and continued to do a good job through different administrations. Bush and Co. to include doctor Rice failed. Dropped the ball big time and should admit it. ![]()

Turkish and egyptian intelligence services gave Bush co. a heads up, over a month to prepare or at least strengthen security.
http://www.unknownnews.net/040402911.html How come this administration won't accept any responsibility? Even a temporary bum would be so humble.

I could make an educated guess that there are over 2 million law enforcement officers in the US. What were their priorities before 9/11? Drugs Guns crimes against children tax enforcement copyright infringement traffic tickets cigarrette and alcohol enforcement D.A.R.E Immigration Airport Security international terrorism I might of missed a few things but how hard is it to focus some priority to terrorism?
