The last time I heard from Ol'Bill, he was still as prickly as his Texas cactus, as sarcastic as ever, letting his barn out to a local church (possible ticket to heaven) and spending more time in his RV than his paddock.

Nothings' changed then....

Probably not in his RV with the price of gas these days. I can see him selling space for bumper stickers and ads on it though.

Bill lives on the other side of Houston. He took off to northern Arizona to a big indian pow wow about two months ago.He drove his motorhome to camp out with the indians. He has not been heard from since. If anyone finds some indians driving a big motorhome with a blonde scalp hanging on the CB antenna please smile and wave as you pass. Bill Ungaro was the richest communist to come along since John Kerry.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

I see at least one Brit keeps the Union Jack flying!

Great Britain, "The land of hope and glory, mother of the free" and to think us colonials in America separated from the Mother Country over ONE lousy tax!

My favorite Russia Dot Commie memory was my many disagreements with Dr. Woland, a Brit living in Moscow and running a tourist company who became more Russian than most Russians in his anti-Americanism. All I had to do start a Woland rant of titanic proportions was simply to post. These exchanges from 2000 are typical..

Doctor Woland:

The text which appears above can be read there, because its author is so full of his own self-importance that none of the self-doubts of humility restrain him from typing the first asinine verbiage which enters his mind. The phenomenon of his typing any remark makes it true - at least for the author. Truth has ceased to have objective limits, and becomes, instead, relative to the subject's power (or lack of power) to determine logical thought sequences. Psychologists conventionally call it a Napoleon complex.

It would be unseemly to chide the mentally ill on account of their symptoms, and therefore, I have no response to Ron directly.

However, due to his illness, Ron has made several suggestions about me which I am obliged, on a professional level, to correct factually, for the sake of my reputation.

>> In constrast, Woland stands for collectivism and subornation of the individual to the State. <<

A wild and incorrect supposition - we have noted that the patient suffers from paranoid delusions, of which this is one.

>> the real founding father of our republic was the Greek philosopher Aristotle <<

A further delusion. Aristotle was not one of the Founding Fathers - nothing in his writings mentions having a turkey dinner at Thanksgiving. Instead, he seems to have enjoyed wine - a sin which the Founding Fathers found most repugnant.

>> his writings on political science which formed the cornerstone of American liberty <<

We have been contacted by lawyers representing the Paine family regarding the ousting of their forebear Tom from his part in history.

>> Ayn Rand <<

an idol-figure amongst the Far Right.

>> To briefly summarize: Aristotle's philosophy; <<

Did you ever see the Monty Python sketch in which several groups attempted to summarise Proust? Now we have a supporter of General Pinochet summarising Aristotle. Tune in next week, when the former head of the Stasi's Interrogation Division reads his favourite passages from Emily Bronte.

>> We come finally <<

Attention anyone still reading... Ron's now finished copying out what it says on the back cover of his paperback books of philosophy ("impress your friends, $20 per bookshelf foot of awesome names of literature"), and in the hope that this entirely irrelevant trip through his library impressed you, the peroration awaits us! Let us trip lightly onward.

>> Decision 2000. <<

As the TV continuity announcers say: well, still on the theme of micro-biology, over to Doug for tonight's baseball results".

>> One of the two major players are <<

One = singular (distinctively so, I'd say)
are = plural.

Republicans love Reading Riting and Rithmetic, as Dan Quayle proved when he tried to spell the plural of "potato".

>> the Republican Party, which advocates the rule of law and reason in its disputes. <<

What a heap of crap this guy writes, eh? Yeah, like we can't see what kind of comment this is supposed to make about the others, that they believe in criminality and stupidity by contrast? Too bad the Republican Party don't believe in basic arithmetic skills.

"Dick Cheney has NOT had a heart attack".
- G.W. Bush on the day of Cheney's heart-attack. This is a guy you can believe, right?

>> The second player is the Democratic Party which follows the philosophy of Plato <<

This needs no comment from me. Ron's just a natural, he can make a public ******* of himself without assistance.

>> changing votes in South Florida <<

COUNTING votes. They haven't changed a single vote-paper. To say they did so, is the desperate lying of a guy with so few moral principles left that the noble philosophers whose names he sullies in his posts would turn in their graves to find their work prostituted by an illiterate like Ron.

Aristotle was the master of rhetoric - by the art of his argument, he won you over to his point of view. Lying isn't the same as rhetoric, one should add.

>> its goal of a collectivist America <<
>> I don't believe in a left-wing plot <<

Spot the difference?

>> It is said that this is a close election. This is not true! <<

Sure, it's a clear landslide for one of them, we just need the Florida count to keep the bean-counters happy, right?

>> America's Heartland Aristotle's philosophy <<

In America's heartland you couldn't find people who can SPELL Aristotle, let alone quote him.

>> he distrusts the liberal intellectuals <<

Folks are DUMB, where I come from,
They ain't had no learnin'....

Who's Harris Tottle anyhow, y'all?

>> The Heartland of America is also the Bible Belt.<<

You heard it first here, folks. Philosophy sensation! Aristotle discovered to support anti-education and religious intolerance - those FAMOUS Aristotelian values!!

>> several generations of American teachers. <<

Dagnabbit and tarnation, ah TOLD ya so, it's that darned LEARNIN' has done all of this!

>> "Political Correctness", which holds that the individual's race, class and gender is the determining factor in his life. <<

It's MAKE YOUR MIND UP time, folks! Is he TOO STUPID TO UNDERSTAND it, or is he TOO DISHONEST TO WRITE IT??

>> the "masses" must rise up and seize control of the economy <<

This is the Video Club calling. Unless you return the copy of "Red Dawn" which you have now had overdue since 1987, we are going to take legal action against you and all the other members of the Right Wing White People's Moral Supremacy Association who took out the membership.

>> Therefore, this difference in philosophy is the root cause of my conflict with Woland <<

No, it's your stupidity, arrogance, ignorance, illiteracy and bigotry which are the main causes.

>> utopia, which is Latin for <<

Taurorom stercus.

>> The 21st century should be quite interesting.<<

Why, do you plan to do us all a favour and copy Seneca's example soon?

Ron Barbour is a fascist who supported the Pinochet regime's murder of 3000+ people in Chile to put-down a democratically-elected Government. His talk about being "Aristotelian" is hypocritical B_U_L_L_S_H_I_T, considering that he actively supports armed uprising for politically-motivated non-democratic ends. It would be interested to know exactly what his "military record" was - writing the PR to justify the "Dirty War", providing support to the Suharto regime? Or worse?

He tried to spread lies about me being in the KGB, in the guise of "quelling" these rumours. He never received any emails about me - that was yet another of his lies.

Ron Barbour, ladies and gentlemen, is a fascist. And he's not even an honest fascist, but a low-down and cowardly liar, too.

Dr W.

Strange that such times only occur once in the same manner in one lifetime. YouTube - We'll Meet Again Vera Lynn
