Jews faced many barriors......they were excluded from mainstream anglo saxon,or other work etc...and were forced to become inventive.Which accounts for the creation of Hollywood.the disproportionate amount of good Jewish doctors,business men,inventors,writers etc..

What other reason than Darwins survival of the fittest could account for Jewish Intelligence...They were forced to do better or die.

They have skills (or I should call it a "gift") to be adapted into the community easily. When I worked in Azerbaijan, we had a senior engineer, a Jewish guy with Ukrainian ancestors but he is a citizen of Azerbaijan. He speaks Azeri and he dances the traditional Caucassus dances better than many Azeris I've known. When you compare them with other nationalities you'll see the difference; I mean, you can easily tell an alien by their refusal to be adapted into the culture in which they live, but you can hardly tell a Jew unless you see him wearing their little caps. By their skills of adaptation, they remind me of Woody Allen's "Zelig", ever wached that movie?

I don't know, maybe it's an "earned" skill rather than a "gift". It's quite logical to develop such skills if a nation that has been on exile and wandering all over the world for two millennia in order to survive.

I think they get a lot of trouble because they refuse to conform to the nations they take up home in. But I knew of some in my home state who fit right in with us in every other way. They were southern US citizen as far as we were concerned.A little different in some ways.But we all got along.The really liberals ones from the North were not very well liked.But the southern ones were not different enough to make us reject them.

Hi Natale. I remember you.You didn't stir up a lot of controversy but I stil remember you. I never changed my name here.I am sure many have and lost their count. I was kicked off the Scotland board and so that kept me off here about a week .Illay stepped in and got me back on here as I really did nothing wrong on the other board. I guess I was off on a full time job when they all got in a big fight here and so many got banned or quit but I had the most post even then. It used to be a lot of fun here until the big riots. I check by now and then, I hope you come by more often.
