Dipstick smellers of Russia?

I may have to leave my beloved country.I am here to inquire among the Russians if there are populations of rabid dipstick smellers over there? If not.How can i get a citizenship paper? These people are after me and they can be very dangerous. I had made a post on a board to say that I do not believe that A person can identify the condition of an engine or transmission by smelling the dipstick.Nor can you tell the age or condition of the lubricants by smelling the dipstick.Well.They came out in force. They are outraged and want me dead. I think they have a secret society along with a group of armed and dangerous thugs.I never knew people could become so polarized over such a technique as dip stick smelling. If you hear no more from me.Send for my body.I want to be buried in the walls of the Kremlin.I hear the place is well guarded even today.

about 9 years ago I would drink beer.I quit and never drink another.I smoked maybe three pot cigs but only a drag or two because friends asked me to try that.It stank! I do not tak even prescription drugs except the short times I had no choice as I was injured and near death.I do not believe in mind altering chemicals of any kind. Nor do I believe those idiots who say they can smell a dipstick they pulled from and engine or transmission then tell how old the fluid is.What kind of damage the machine has and reveal other vital information,

Well, I guess if bleached was poured down in the oil tank then you would know if there was something wrong. That has happened before. Now I do know that if the oil is really black then that is a clear signal that it is old and needs to be changed...I know...I saw it and the mechanic kinda gave me the third degree for treating my car like sh**....

You are right. Look at it .You can compare in you mind the new oil look opposed to old dirty oil.THen black oil indicates carbon .But if you know the look of new oil which is almost clear and the oil on the stick does look dark then it is time to change. That and the filter, When you put the old oil in a claean pan you may look for metal that came from the engine. Or cut the filter open to see if excessive matal has been deposited in it..But the bad thing about smelling dipsticks comes when you try to explain the technique to others. Smell 1 ,Smells like ------------------------------------- Indicates the fluid is 5 months old. Smell 2. Smells like ---------------- Indicates the bearing on number 5 rod is faulty. Smell 3 ,Smells like ----------------------------- Indicates a headgasket leak between cylinders 4 and 6. What these fools do has the smell of BS all over it. If you go to get on an airplane and see the mechanic smelling dipsticks you would do well to cancel you flight.

Ha ha...too funny! Fools saying this kind of BS...I have never heard of indicating a problem such as "number 5 rod is faulty" by smelling the dip stick...hahahahaha...that is hilarious! If anyone falls for that, then they need to look up the definition for "fool" in the dictionary, they would clearly see their name next to it...hahahaha! I am a woman, men have a tendency to pull the wool over our eyes, but I know when someone is pulling the wool...I know BS when I hear it.

In that case, If I should see a fool with a black spot on his nose then I will cancel my flight...
