Yes, a little bit
As soon as I now one of my remote ancestor was a Mongolian khan (something like emperor), maybe even Genghis Khan, so I count myself a prince

I'm non-Russian, but my wife is Russian (And therefore my son is 50% Russian). I've worked 8 years in a couple of former Soviet republics (But alas I haven't been to Russia herself). I'm a Russian speaker and enjoy their literature, music and movies a lot.

Wow! A prince....you must be proud....My aunt did our family tree and traced back to the Vikings. I came from the Celtic background, but when my aunt traced our tree 3 times to be sure, she told us that "Ivan the Terrible" bloodlines kept showing up in our family line. I thought "Ivan the Terrible" killed his only son...I think she is wrong, but during those times who knows what really happened...she is pretty sure she is right.

I used to ask my grandpaw and about his ancestors but he would not tell much about them except they left Alabama after the civil war in a big hurry to get to Texas. The great grandfather was a soldier in that war but didn't hang around for the victory parades because his side placed second.

Not Russian, ancestry searchers on my father's side traced back to Prussia. not Russia! I think Prussia was more German than Russian even though the name sound similar. I am laying down new family roots in Texas.

I do not post often because I keep forgetting my name here and my password. I think I may write it down somewhere. You know "writing", like with a pen and paper. I guess I am just an old fashioned girl.
