Santa ban angers Kensington residents

The Town Council voted in October to ban Santa Claus from the annual holiday gathering after some residents protested, saying they would feel uncomfortable having the jolly, fat man at the celebration.
Two families who don't celebrate Christmas said they believed Santa Claus is synonymous with the holiday, and felt excluded, town officials say.

Political correctness bites. What ever happened to majority rules? There are those that are so damn scared to fight for whats right because of the possibilty of a lawsuit from one or two individuals, that they just roll over....give in....dont rock the boat and my God dont offend anybody.
Bullsh!t.

I've been hearing a lot of this kind of thing lately in just about every aspect of the news media.

When the needs/rights of the few outweigh the needs/rights of the many, you no longer have a democracy.
