look, do i really have to be a junior member - it's so demeaning. i suggest we adopt a more kung-fu orientated nomenclature. for instance instead of junior i could be a novice and then after 100 posts would become sensei instead of senior member we could use zen master. perhaps one of the moderators could get back to me on this. come to think of it i'm sure you guys don't really enjoy being called moderators do you?

I have been thinking the same thing for quite some time, but you were the first smart enough to say something. Unfortunately, the moderators lack the power necessary to adjust that particular facet of the site. We'd have to contact the admin in order to make such a change, but, again unfortunately, the admin is rarely around and seldom responds to emails.

as for you mastodon:- i've always been bitterly dissapointed upon finding out that the people in positions of authority whom i look upto and respect (seeing in them something of a role model) turn out to be paper tigers. i can see i'll have to fight this noble struggle on my lonesome.
