Well visiting New York....

Marxman (my friend) has been to USA three times!
Well he was not impressed! He has been once in New York (East cost), LA....(west cost) and once in north and Canada!
All travells were for free because he travelled with his father on business trips!
He said that trips to America are expensive and that he wouldnīt go with his father if he had to pay anything!
He said that he was lucky that he had good guide with him!Guide showed not all the good things of America, but also bad things!

First they had to rent a car! It was empty in a "second"! American cars drink fuel like German beer drinkers!
Then they tried to find something to eat! All they saw were just fast food restaurants and no normal restaurants, the food there was overboiled!(something like in Macdonalds)! Then there was TRAFFIC! And there is something that is almost unusual here in Europe! In America almost everyone is FAT!
Well every sixth is not fat!

He was to America in summer so it was kind of hot in New york! He said that the air is AWFUL there!
............................................................................................

WELL than he said that this were not holidays but suffering!

I AM NOT REALLY SURE THAT WHAT I SAID IS 100% TRUE!
I WILL TELL MARXMAN WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT AND HE WILL EXPLAIN IT CORRECTLY IF I MADE SOME MISTAKES! HE WAS IN USA ONE YEAR AGO AND I DONīT REMEMBER REALLY GOOD!

new york

Hello Radiant,
For years I avoided working in New York because I was afraid I would be robbed or killed on the first day.
Now, my girlfriend has family in NY city. We just got back from up there. We went when and where her kids told us.
The Subways were clean, the people were polite. If you you use the subway or train Travel is fast. On the subway I saw Muslim women, turbined men, business suits, two young lesbians making love and many, many normal looking people. People even offered to give their seats up to the old couple that we are. Fat people? If you are fat you wouldn't want to walk around town all day and if you did then you wouldn't be fat anymore.
Walking downtown around broadway is a trip. There are giant tv screens on the buildings and tikertapes running. The streets are a mass of people rushing here and there. The traffic is stopped everwhere and I pass cars while on foot.
It is like a carnival, there are stores everywhere even stores on the side walk, hawking their goods, and at good prices too. Broadway is very expensive but is a treat that you will never forget. Also, there is every kind of food and price you could desire from Mc dee's to $60 dinners and in the middle there is a lot of good food at reasonable prices. Saddly the twin towers was one of our favorite places.

hi,
thanks for writing me and giving such a clear description of New York! For a moment I thought about changing my mind regarding my trip, but I like danger, so I'm still planning on going exploring.
Just want to note: I am not fat!
I really wanna come to New York. I live in Chicago now and am going back to Russia in the beginning of March. "Aeroflot" has been closed in Chicago after the tragedy and there are no non-stop flights to Russia from Chicago so I will have to go to New York first. But I have an opportunity to stay in New York for couple days and then finally go home. I really wanna go there because there I will have freedom !! (I don't have much here).
Again thanks for telling me about everything! Merry Christmas!!!

Edita,

No offence, but why do you want to go to America!

I and my friend (MARXMAN, who has been to America) are from Slovenia!

We decided that we will visit Russia in year 2005!
I think that it will be better there than in Usa!
