Comerades - I don't know. My father did not like the communists, but he did not want the old regime back. Old regime was the half capitalist - half feudalist regime before the World War 2, which was supported by the church. The church was buisy to tell the poor, exploited people, that every thing was all right and just accept the suffering. BEST REGARDS: VOROSILOV

Hi varosilov
I have read a lot and was told about that..And the early Americans came to the USA to get away from state churches. But instead of blameing God for the troubles they were protestants and established a government that is not opposed to God.nor were they establishing a government of one man rule.I think Stalin was as bad as the Popes because he became just as powerful or more.Anyone who would try to oppose Stalin would be taken out and shot.I remember Stalins replacement.Only after Stalin died.he told a few stories that folks seem to have forgotten.he said no one had the courage to oppose Stalin. Not even himself. So that government operated on FEAR..Just as the terorist in afganistan today..And if time was reversed fifty years..You and Bill would hang if you tried to get on a board and talk to us.there were some Hungarians in the US Special Forces.they knew how the revolution of 1958 went down. they were good soldiers in the US Army..They liked freedom. do you remember the guy who ran Russia when Stalin died? He came to the USA and visited us.He made this statement while here.We will burry you.your grandchildren will live under communism.
