What about oil? Russia, Norway, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada.
These countries can make up the difference in oil production, if the USA decide not to buy oil from the Arabic countries. They can do what ever they want with their oil. Have you ever heared of alternative fuel? Well, it means real danger to Taliban economi. How long do you and your muslim friends will extort the west with your and their oil? What is going to happen with them when we don't buy from you anymore? Are there so many kind of industries in muslim countries?

Muslim countries have few or no industry and depend on import for even their basic needs. When they use oil as blackmail, it will come back to them in raising prices of import products.
USA/EU has enough oil and other resources for their needs but exploitation is more expensive than importation, for the moment. Raising oil prices would make exploitation of those means profitable and there would be no need anymore for import from Muslim countries.

Result would be poverty, starvation and also that governments will not be able to keep an armed force anymore to keep the people submitted.
