Hi!
Let me introduce myself ... I joined this list today. My name is Sivakami . Indian, female, 29 years old, married. Working as a corporate manager in an IT firm in India . An agnostic/atheist, quite passionate about science (although I still have lots and lots to learn!). Huge fan of Carl Sagan and Richard Dawkins. Love discussions on science, ethics, religion vs skepticism etc. Here's to some good discussions . - Sivakami.

Oh, no, ,Sivakami, not everyone on this board is as ignorant as I am.
I simply rarely read popularisers of science. I prefer to read about science from people who actually do it. Stephen Hawking can tell himself what he thinks and does it quite well! Bomb terrorism sponsor Pakistan to dust! Russian arms will never let you down.

Common, Ronbo. You tried once, of course, but got shot down though. I wonder, what you used to say before you flew that U-2, American planes ar so good, Russkies are so inferior, they couldn't possibly have anything to shoot that high. He, he, he....

Yes, old days....What a waste...To occupy so many people and for what?
But, hey, it's history, it happened. I just wonder, former Cold War warriors from both sides should organise some sort of club. I am sure you will find company of each other very interesting . There would be a lot to talk about. It's your life, your experiences and they are dear for you. Not for us, normal people. We dearly hate you both (not personal remark, Ronbo :-) )
