I suppose this is it.

I have had severe personal problems in recent weeks. This, coupled with some severe emotional/mental issues, compel me do leave Russia.com. I am aware that recent issues here on the boards have called into question my objectivity and sense of justice. I do not wish to be remembered as being unfair, but âñå ïåðåìåëåòñÿ, ìóêà áóäåò.

I know this is a weak thing to do, but so be it.

I need time to myself and time to work on pressing personal problems.

This message exists only because I promised to explain my departure in Lenore's 'Pact' thread.

I value friendships I have made in my time here, and wish all of you the best.

I for one dont think you should leave. Objectivity is in the mind of the reader...and what the hell...everybody gets passionate about a subject from time to time and voices their own opinion.

I think you are one of the most intelligent and kind people on this board . I really feel sad about your decision of leaving , hope you will change your mind and stay . As for what has been said about you or your way of moderating , well this is life, not every one will agree with you.

But you should not let some people who disagree with you or who themselves, get caught up into mixing objectivities with emotions , let that affect you .
