If the reports that are comming out true, the French Judge threw her vote thus giving the russian skate team the gold medal. Yesterday the Canadian's were awarded the gold too. My question is how could ther be 2 gold medal winners, there routines would have to be scored EXACTLY the same. What about the Bronze winner, should they be promoted to silver? Right now there are 2 gold, and no silver and 1 bronze, whats wrong with that picture? It isnt fair to the atheletes but, should russia forfeit their Gold?

I had the opportunity to read the article concerning the French judge who was considered "emotionally fragile," and "pressured," into rigging the competition.
I was appalled at the apparent French attempt to divert responsibility.

Since when is "emotionally fragile," and "pressure," an excuse for doing the wrong thing? This woman should have excused herself or reported it to her supervisor who could have intervened and prevented it.

Hate to be political here (yeah right) but that behavior and refusal to take responsiblity for ones own actions (not the actions of others) has permeated Liberal Culture for years ..

The French, unbelieveable.

But the other judges gave 5.9 to the Russians for their performance.
I still believe the Russians gave the better performance.

The point is that Russians are the best in figure skating. Ok, Canadians have gold this time, but Russians have had gold long before Sale and Peltier and it will continue to be so. Every skater, who wants to become a better skater works with a Russian trainer.

I have been an avid figure skating fan for many years and have always respected the Russians as top in their field, not only in figure skating, but in gymnastics as well.

I always route for the Russians as they have classical ballet training which the Americans severely lack.No one can compete with their grace and style.

Only in this case did I disagree with the judging of the pairs. The Canadian pair should have received higher technical marks....and deserved the Gold Medal...this time.
