It's true that corruption is everywhere, but lately it seems to be focused on the Catholic Church.Focused by the MASS MEDIA, perhaps? Some are even going as far as saying it is the second reformation. And setting the stage for hysteria and sectarian violence within Christendom to match the antiIslamic fervor being generated by that SAME MASS MEDIA, comrade? All religions are imperfect because it is people who follow them. Humans are never perfect. Therefore no ideology can be brought to perfection.TRUE and PERCEPTIVE, comrade- could God in His infinite wisdom have intended for the various faiths to complement and illuminate each other, for that very reason?
Money has always been something that people treat as a God. As an idol.I do most emphatically agree, comrade! But you can't change this becuase there is no way to change a person's heart. Are you quite sure? Was the heart of St. Francis of Assisi not changed for the better? And that of Joan of Arc? If human beings can be degraded by cultural decadence, as in the waning days of the Roman Empire, can they not be uplifted by exposure to all that is noble in human nature? Human behavior is LEARNED behavior, so choose your teachers well, and may God guide your every step. Materialism is trifling in and of itself, but making POWERFUL IDEAS MANIFEST in the material world is a fit task for men and women.PEACE,T.
