Okay, I know there is, or was a city called Archangel, or something close to that in Russia. Is that still a part of russia, or was it in one of the countries that broke away from Russia in the split? Or was is one of the cities renamed? Also, is Kiev still in Russia, or was it in one of the countries that split off too? Are there any large deserts in Russia?

Kiev is in the Ukraine, and I seem to remember that there are deserts in the CIS. With 11 time zones there should be a few somewhere! LOL!

Arkhangelsk is approx. 400km north east of St. Petersburg (formerly Leningrad)

Edgy of late? I wonder why? Who/what could be causing you to be? ;-)

Well, US marine is interested in Arkhangelsk, the Russian navy cradle. The question about Severomorsk and Severodvinsk will be next time. So Severodvinsk is in the Arkhangelsk region, but Severomorsk is in Murmansk region of Russia.

What? The CIA sucked at getting military information through their own channels, so now they are resorting to getting military information through back door tactics.

Remember the bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade? What was that all about. Old maps?

LOL !!!!

Lilly, you have to remember that edge is a marine. They can barely read a comic book, let alone a map.

And as for the bombing of the Chinese Embassy, that was only embarrassing for Klinton who had to answer to his handlers.

-k- enough playing with my name, I know I started it, but... oh well. Thanks for the info. About the bombing of the Chinese Embassy, supposivly it was a mistake, but it also happened right after we found out that they stole a few nuclear secrets from us. Coincidence, maybe, only the pilots know for sure.

I'm just interested in going to Russia, I'm gonna try to get stationed there when I get outta my MOS training. That was low chase 'bout barely being able to read a comic book. I rede them just fine, onlee taces about 2 or 3 ours to rede them.

Actually, if I was dumb, I couldn't have gotten into my MOS, but I'm just too lazy to look a lot of this shi.. uhh stuff up.

Are you lazy about everything? Do the others always have to do ALL the work for you? You should get up enough energy to put some effort into it yourself. ~smile~
