Is there anyone that knows about Russian judiciary procedures and punishment for crimes ranging from petty theft to murder?
One is under the impression that there is a firing squad ready to shoot anybody for anything. I have heard the term used "guilty before proven innocent" as in France. In Canada, the accused is innocent until proven guilty. They say that justice is blind, (the statue of the blindfolded woman holding the scales of justice); how does she know then, if someone tips the scales in their favor, if she can't see? ~smile~ LillyNomad |
