Dear ebyrek:

Welcome to russia.com!

Please review my post again. In particular I was discussing the potential edit or omission of my own words. Secondly, I didn't say "steal," I believe I stated "captured," (a usual state of war). Furthermore, I was speaking of re-writing history--and that is what Stalin was accused of...I was making a comparison between the "moderator(s)" of russia.com [if my accusations are valid] and the perceived and proven power of the bolshevik party. Please take no personal offense to my statements.

Sincerely,
Natalie

Hey Nat! Remember how much grief I received for saying that Putin was evil and a puke? That was years ago. Remember? My, my, my how time shows all.........

Castlestormer:

Happy Holidays!

I'm not sure why the formal recognition of Mr. Putin feels like a personal victory...but it does!

Sincerely,
Natalie

Vladimir Putin voted Time Magazine's "Man of the Year" 2007!

Congratulations to President Vladimir Putin & family!

It was Wednesday, December 19th at approximately 8 o'clock a.m. when I first heard the announcement that Vladimir Putin was chosen Time Magazine's "Man of the Year" 2007. The formal announcement of his public acknowledgement felt like a personal victory! I hooted, jumped up & down and did a "victory lap" in the living room.

Time Magazine is a reputable magazine, and I suspect that his political adversaries deem the decision to be nothing less than a grand political gesture & manipulation of public perception! Time Magazine is, of course, a political source & tool.

Mr. Putin has shown progress in diplomacy and it has obviously been a team effort. I'm mighty proud that other people are sharing in what was once a private & personal intuition about Mr. Putin and his political prowess.

Congratulations!

Well Nat, don't rejoice too much. This honor was given to Hitler in 1938, Nixon in 1971, Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, and simply given to "YOU" last year. This honor means absolutely nothing.

Putin is a bad man.

Hi Castlestormer:

1. What kind of subjective logical inferences and/or comparisons are you trying to make?

2. I thought you were actually wishing me a "Happy New Year."

3. I just, now, realize that you are using this forum as a vehicle of personal revenge; I looked at it as a sort of public apology for the unnecessary hassling you subjected me to...

4. Regarding President Putin: a) Prove it, or b) bite me.

Thank you,
Natalie

Personal revenge? What are you talking about? I have nothing against you Nat. You are one of the good ones.

I am in fact wishing you a Happy New Year. And Putin is in fact a bad man. Start an NGO, head to Russia to do orphanage work, and see for yourself. He may look good and speak eloquently like Caesar. But his heart is dark and his country is a mess.

But you rock! Have a great 2008!
