Hello all,

New on this forum. Love this thread because I have strong views on V. Poutine's presidency. Natalya, why did you highjack your own thread?
Cheers,
Bob

I like the guy!
He has a good presence in the medias, when he talks, he looks very sincere. He can talk about a wide range of topics without referring to prepared notes. I agree that a lot of people expect him to deliver much more, but the country cannot be changed overnight! A great part of his workload is to undo what his predecessor allowed to happen, mainly the corruption and illegal privatizations.
For the sake of Russia and its neighbours, I wish that he stayed on for a third term.
Cheers,
Bob

I guess some people wouldn't know this but New Year's isn't celebrated by Putin and his administration, or almost anyone in Russia, until a few weeks from now.

Wink

Jutka,
Wrong...
The party seems to last quite a while . On the 24 in the evening, I hapenned to spend five hours at Sheremetyevo, and tried to go to the fifth floor lounge for dinner. Surprise! Big dressed up party there. They celebrate two Christmas and Novi God as well!
Seasons greetings all!!!
Bob
