Sunday, September 4th President Putin delivered on behalf of the russian military and the russian people.

The commander of the ruski navy was fired! This decision was apparently based on two dangerous & ill perceived navy accidents involving russian submarines.

Submarines are the most sophisticated and dangerous weaponry on the face of the planet...and they should [appropriately] be respected.

I commend President Putin for his decision!

A tough decision in the face of adversity...nobody likes to see hardworking military personell lose their jobs!

One step toward a stronger russian navy!

Was he some rich kid, whose parents paid for him to get into officers school, or did he start from the bottom up and has a university degree in physics or something?

Are you referring to a so-called "mustang," as they would refer to it in the U.S. Navy...a person who made his way up the ladder (and not by traditional officer candidate schooling)?

Is that how it is done in the russian navy? Do you really believe they hand any jackass a position because of their parents money...or is there actually a slew of good candidates...and the one with the most "connections" gets the promotion?

I remember my father pushing me toward college...and when I graduated he commented "it's not what you know, it's who you knew...;" wasn't I angry and confused...

or is it part of a general learning experience called LIFE.

P.S. The particular U.S. Navy officer I'm referring to went into the backyard of his garden and shot his brains out....

In the soviet union the cops would shoot robber and crack dealers in the head that is whay everyone had money the cops killed and torchered robbers who want something for nothing.

PRESIDENT PUTIN HAS PEOPLE TAX MONEY AND HE NEEDS TO BE PAYING THE ROYALS FOR GIVING HIM NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

He cant be paying for some crack and nothing at all.

He needs to be paying his armes dealers alot of countries purchase weapons from outside their country and they have to pay for their guns and weapons the royals gave them to him he ows them money for weapons want to when they just spend all the hard earned money on nothing.People fighting for their countries government deserves to get alot of money which amounts to alot and it would be made even. What no one earned amounts to nothing at all.

Anyone waving out money for nothing is bound in a anarchy society to get robbed. He was supposto be giving people money for weapons worth alot of money.Everyone of them cost money to make and in fact President Putin most the US tax money comes out of the pockets of city officals and goes in to making the weapons do you know how much they are all worth realy?Were is all our hard earned tax money in the weapons you have and we want the money back and if was given to the right person they could give it back to the people where it belongs not in for someones personal issues Like a royla offical Blair could make good use of it now!

I think the soldiers in the russian army should get paid a decent wage. From a business perspective: it would be an added incentive to joining, re-enlisting, and overall increased job satisfaction...furthermore, the russian army obviously has difficulties with public relations and/or public perception.

Do not talk crap about the Russian army they all get paied the same amount no matter how good they do they are all a GOOD ARMY and good ARMY guys.They do not have difficulties with public relations or public perception.They are a VERY GOOD ARMY.
