Is it just me, or is there a disproportionate number of Western men looking for Russian women.

Is there a reason why Russian ladies aren't responding?

Does it mean that Russians would rather remain in Russia than relocate to another country? People from all countries around the world move around constantly. So I see no reason why a Russian lady would not want to relocate.

Maybe Russian ladies just don't take online dating seriously, or are sceptical of it.

Another reason could be that russia.com is not frequented by native Russians, and hence they don't get to see all these ads posted by men from other countries.

You got it! This board died and I don't know any real Russians who frequent here. There is nothing in it for them.

You were way off on your thoughts on Russian ladies though. Look at the number of Russian bride sites out there and you will see that there are plenty of RW looking to head west. That is a part of the reason the population in Russia is in crisis mode and declining.

There are many factors like infrastructure, health care, etc. But I believe the main reason so many people are heading to America is money. The average household income in the US is $46,326 per year. The median household income in Russia is $6.395,000 rubles which is around $1,100 according to CNN. Do the math. The exchange rate today is better than it has ever been at 25 rubles to the dollar. I remember a few years ago i could get over 40 rubles to the dollar. Either way, they make less than half what the average US household makes.

I know some amazing orphanage directors who work their butts off and make the equivalent of $400 USD per month.

Plus many of the hot ladies can deceive some old horny coot into marrying them, and then they can take him for all he is worth. It happens every day.

Yes, Russian women don't often visit this site.
You would better to visit particularized sites of Russian brides.
I wish you good luck. In Russia there are a lot of nice, kind women, ready to move.
