Divorce
Hi everyone. Im having some trouble. I married my Russian wife six months ago, in Moscow, and then we both came back to my country where we stayed for a few months. However, we ran into some financial problems and, in a moment of thoughtlessness, my wife went back to Russia, to move in with her mother
Now when things are back to normal and she has gotten her visa, she refuses to come back to me and threatens me with divorce (apparently because of our financial problems - shes afraid it might happen again) So my question is: can she divorce me without my consent? Im Danish. And also: I changed my surname in the meantime. Can this make it more difficult for her to get a divorce without my consent? |

Go to Russian Meeting Place - Russia, Russian Travel, Learning Russian Language, Russian Women, Ukraine, Belarus and look for the forum. There is a Danish language section. PM the moderator Brian. He posts as Jyden. He lives in Copenhagen and can help you. Tell him Cheburashka who he met in Moscow sent you. Good luck.
I believe that most men who marry Russian women are being "set up". Not all...but most.
