Russians in America

This is a very interesting article about Russian emigres making a living in and an impact on America. Most of them seem to settle very nicely and find that life is good here. It's so different from when I came in the late 70s, we were all very depressed. Is it because life in modern Russia is more like in America these days and the adjustment is not so hard?
