American needs a little help here...

Brand new to this whole thing--can anyone give me some wisdom? I am curious about a Belorussian woman I met online. I am not some typical old, bald, desperate American trying to "save" some poor Russian girl. Just a normal guy who is intrigued with meeting this lady. But as I browse around, I have been inundated by reports of fraud and scam. Any ideas on how to check her authenticity? Anyone live in, or familiar with, Minsk? Thanks!

Well asking for some normal pictures of her is a start. Then her adress. If yoiu get those two, then you are already ahead of the competition.

If you know her better, ask if she is willing to meet you. Arrange the ticket yourself. Most women are willing to arrange the VISA themselves. Another option is to meet in a place that he can travel too, and is interesting for both, like Turkey, or a country with a Embassy in her country.
