Now you have a brief historical sketch of Halloween. Is there any doubt that Halloween is a pagan worship day? Halloween is doubtless the only day that you would even consider honoring the devil, witches, ghosts, vampires and perverse acts. Why honor Satan and his demons at all?
It seems to me that Satan was invented by the Jewish religion and introduced in Europe by the Christians. How could our Druids honor Satan before he existed in our regions?

The first Christians were accused to drown their children, Christians accuse other religions of atrocities...
It is a cheap policy.

Sigh! A mind is a terrible thing to waste!

Bill, you wrote: "The Concept of Mary being impregnated by the Holy Spirit is in itself RITUALISTIC." Bill, please go to a dictionary and look up both the word "ritual" and the word "concept". How can a concept be a ritual. One is a thought, one is an action. Once again I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry that your only exposure to Christianity has been wimpy, stupid, dishonest, mealy-mouth, uneducated people. Even Gahndi said that he might have become a Christian if it were not for the Christians he already met. I also feel sorry for you because, either you are dumb as a brick based on your postings, or you just want attention and disruption. I believe it is the latter. I believe you are actually quite intelligent. You are getting pounded on every board. Why do you persist?

And anyone who says that the Druids didn't worship Satan just has no idea what they are talking about. Please do further research on Druidic deity. Who was the horned god they worshipped? Please do research before the religion of athiesm takes over your keyboard.

YOU ATHIESTS ARE FAR MORE RELIGIOUS THAN WE CHRISTIANS EVER ARE!

I deplore my lack of knowledge about our ancient religion. Not that I believe in it, but it is something of my ancestors, wiped out by an imported superstition. It is sad that at school I learned about the Greek mythology but never about our own. I consider it as our cultural heritage that has been ripped from us.
As far as I know they worshipped sun, moon, earth and not some imaginary persons, but I will follow your advice and do some research about it. ALthough I doubt to find information that has not been manipulated by Christians.

The Druids worshipped many deities but Satan wasn't one of them. The idea of a devil which is the personification of evil comes from Jewish,Christian and Muslim theology and the Celts would not have had any knowledge of Satan.Druid comes from the Greek 'Drus'-oak tree. This tree was sacred to them and one of their chief ceremonies involved cutting mistletoe from it with a sickle. The modern practice of hanging mistletoe on Christmas trees has it's origins in this pagan ceremony. This is just one example of many pagan practices which have been incorporated into christian festivals such as Easter and Christmas.
