Hey guys,

my first impulse after reading the posts was to make a list of people i disagree with and leave it here as my response. <teasing>

dear cepguu, laughing out loud @ the last 2 paragraphs of ur first posts. no, the wrath of the wannnabe peacemaker shall not be kindled against thee this day for thy way with words truly doth require admiration.
*rebyata, davaite jit' drujno!

my respect to Jenna. i agree with ur position on the Jewish history. as a Russian, let me only assure u that there's such a thing as a deep spiritual connection to the land, at least in such wannabe poets and hopeless dreamers like me.

dear nonson, i cannot number the many aspects which i disagree with u on. i don't think i will have time or ability to discuss them with u to the fullest. somehow u have managed to criticise much and many, but never yet have stated what exactly makes the very foundation of ur own beliefs, as i understand out of persuasion that others are not on the intellectual(and/or) spiritual level to understand it.

speculation, i know. just tell me if i'm right on this one, and hit me if i'm not. u probably did not expect this from me, since we have had some common grounds in the past. yet this is the deal. i do share ur dissapointment with the corruption of the church.

luv 2 all of u.

"For Mr/Ms. Curious: I have heard that in the Orthodox Churches they focused more on the Risen Jesus rather than Jesus on the Cross, would you say that's a fair characterization?"

I would. But I am not a member of the Orthodox church, so this view is a bit from an outsider.

-Curious (no need for a formal "Mr" or "Ms" I feel too young to be greeted as such. Call me Curiozha, or Curioka, if you're going to call me anything but Curious. )

p.s. I am not responding to the rest of the posts to this topic, not because I have no desire to or nothing to say, but because I really haven't read them, only skimmed... Perhaps I'll say more later.

Dear friends: Thank you all so much for your replies. My own responses will arrive soon.

*****

... getting rather cold and stuffy by now in the cabins of "Kursk", it must be. I wish to say a prayer for those who are still laying and breathing in the darkness. And say what?
... Trying to visualize numerous young faces. Fresh lads, some tall, some short. Each with own sets of personal pecularities and oddities. What would they be thinking about and trying to remember at this moment? And the seconds tick away, tick away, Shiver, Cold.

Well, breathe gently now, brother, or reach for the hand of your comrade, is it still warm?

Do you see a door slowly opening towards you now, in pitch darkness? We all, with absent-minded certainty, glide towards that door, hoping for fragments of certain memories that we will have the opportunity and blessing to recollect, that can fill us with a flush of peace and dignity, as we edge closer and closer, hoping to believe for certain, but not really knowing whether or not to believe, that we will meet faces, beyond that door, so many and so many faces, some will be our loved ones, some will be new friends, some smiling, some watching, some weeping out of happiness or regret. They huddle around, then quickly they dissolve with the blue waves, in the bosom of the great ocean.

Brave young sailors, if we don't meet you tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, may you find comfort and murmurs of grand joy with all those new friends.
